Somethin fun to do during summer holiday? How about a summer camp at the museum environment!
Finnish Aviation Museum´s summer camps are held Mon-Thu (4 days), from 13th or 20th June, 2022. Summer camp offers a variety of aviation-related activities for children aged 7 to 10. The language at the camp is Finnish, but we’ll translate all the instructions and information in English if needed.
At the camp the child gets acquainted with the exhibitions and collections of the Aviation Museum, visits to see the planes, does arts and crafts, learns about restoration, solves environmental issues and does sport activities outdoors at the museum yard. The program includes an excursion. The camp is for anyone interested in the topic, no prior knowledge is required.
There is daily program from 9 AM to 3 PM, a supervising adult is present from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. We require the child to have their first year of school behind and we expect that the routines run smoothly. The price of 175 € / week (4 days) includes guided activities, materials and lunch and a snack.
We take 12 participants maximum. The registration period ends when the seats are filled or no later than 27th May. The camp will take place if there are at least five registered children. Once registration is confirmed and an invoice is sent from the camp, the camp can only be cancelled free of charge with a medical certificate. The invoice will be sent to the email address provided at registration and must be paid before the start of the camp. If more than one child from the family attends the camp, the sibling discount is 10% – however, report each child on a separate form. More information about the policy and program will be provided to registrants at the end of May.
